About our staff

Each Camp Renegade program has a trained Site Director who meets the educational credentials as required by law. The Site Director is on-site daily to coordinate and supervise all staff and activities. Many of our counselors are enrolled in college or have had past experience working with children.

All staff members have been fingerprinted and background screened and meet the medical requirements set forth by law. They also receive a mandatory four hour orientation includes such important topics as How to Speak to Children, Guidelines for Working With Children, Positive Reinforcement and Guidance Techniques.

All staff are also required to take the 40 hour Child Care and Training course mandated by law, CPR and First Aid, as well as 10 hours of in-service training yearly.
